Coach charged with assaulting girls released from jail
(reported by Nj.com – May 4 2017)
A Deptford man jailed last week on charges that he sexually assaulted two young girls at a Williamstown gymnastics facility was ordered released Wednesday pending his next court appearance.
Catrambone is charged with three counts of sex assault, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of simple assault.
The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office objected to Catrambone’s release on Wednesday, based on the nature of the offenses and the potential that he will face prison time if convicted, GCPO spokesman Bernie Weisenfeld said.
Superior Court Judge Kevin Smith said he found nothing in Catrambone’s history to indicate he would fail to appear in court when required, Weisenfeld added, but the release did come with conditions.
You’ve been LIED to New Jersey…NJ Bail Reform is RECKLESS, DANGEROUS, and YOU are PAYING for it.
