Three individuals were arrested for distribution of heroin and cocaine when an alert police officer stopped the trio after they were observed trying to use a stolen credit card.
During the investigation, the officer uncovered 359 vials of cocaine and 47 bags of heroin stamped “UPTOWN.”

All three were released and FREE TO GO after thier first appearance under NJ Bail Reform after the Arnold Foundation’s “Pretrial Risk Assessment” tool determined that they were not a danger to the community or a flight risk and therefore should not be subject to any accountable release – just a “promise” to appear.

An alert Paramus police officer nabbed a trio of would-be thieves from Newark with hundreds of vials of cocaine and dozens of envelopes of heroin, authorities said.
Officer Anthony Mordaga spotted the trio leaving a mall after trying and failing to use a woman’s credit card in different stories, Deputy Chief Robert Guidetti said Wednesday.
While interviewing them, Mordaga “detected the odor of burnt marijuana on the suspects clothing and inside their 2013 Chevrolet Camaro,” Guidetti said.
A search of the vehicle turned up four zip-locking bags containing 359 vials containing cocaine and 47 heroin bags stamped “UPTOWN,” he said.
