Franco Silvesti, 32, of Barrington was arrested on Distribution of Child Pornography charges…and now FREE TO GO thanks to NJ Bail Reform

Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Barrington Police Chief Dave Uron reported a Barrington man has been arrested and charged Friday, February 24, 2017 with distribution and possession of child pornography.
Franco Silvestri, 32, was charged after detectives from the High Tech Crimes Unit of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office executed a search warrant Friday morning. Detectives seized Silvestri’s cellular device for analysis. An onsite preview of the device showed a download history of child pornography.
Silvestri was arrested and was charged with one count of second-degree Distribution of Child Pornography and one count of third-degree Possession of Child Pornography.
Camden County Prosecutor’s Office detectives were assisted on this case by members of Homeland Security Investigations – Cherry Hill Division, the Waterford Township Police Department.
All persons charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
