Glen Rock Detective Nabs Wanted West Milford, Westchester Men

(reported by Jerry DeMarco of Daily Voice – May 15 2017)

A wanted West Milford ex-con with a history of drug-related crimes and two companions – a Westchester County man who was also wanted — had 50 bags of heroin when a Glen Rock police detective stopped their car, authorities said Monday.

Michael Dellapenna, 29, and 28-year-old Buchanan, NY resident Matthew Troccoli were passengers in the car stopped by Detective Michael Trover last Tuesday night, Police Chief Dean Ackermann told Daily Voice.

The driver, Maryann McKinnon, 33, also of West Milford, was charged with heroin possession and released without bail pending a May 26 detention hearing in Central Judicial Processing in Hackensack, Ackermann said.

McKinnon also received a trio of summonses — for having drugs in a motor vehicle, no side view mirrors and not wearing a seat belt, he said.

Troccoli, who was charged with drug and paraphernalia possession and hindering his arrest by providing false information, was wanted on warrants out of state court in Passaic County and municipal courts in Clifton, Bloomfield and East Orange, the chief said.

Dellapenna, who also was charged with heroin and paraphernalia possession, had two active warrants out of Wanaque, he said.

Both men were taken to the Bergen County Jail only to be released the next day, records show.
