Caesare D. Asberry, 35, of Moorestown, was arrested after a motor vehicle crash investigation revealed Asberry was in possession of 2 loaded handguns, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Asberry was remanded to the Burlington County Jail and later released – FREE TO GO – under NJ Bail Reform guidelines.

Moorestown Police Post via Facebook – May 17 2017
On May 15, 2017, at approximately, 2154 hrs, Moorestown Police were dispatched to the intersection of Nixon Drive and Harper Drive for a report of a two car motor vehicle accident. Police were notified by two witnesses that the driver/suspect, Caesare D. Asberry, 35, of 99 East Second Street Moorestown, NJ, had exited his vehicle immediately following the accident with a backpack style bag and placed it in the bushes near the intersection and returned to his vehicle without the bag. Officers located the bag, along with two loaded handguns. The one gun was loaded with hollow nose bullets, and was reported stolen from a home burglary in South Brunswick. The bag also contained over 50 grams of suspected marijuana and other paraphernalia. Asberry was taken into custody without incident and subsequently charged with possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, possession of hollow nose bullets, receiving stolen property, possession of over 50 grams of marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia. Asberry was then remanded to Burlington County Jail.
