Patrick M. Grega, 20, of Branchburg, was charged with 2nd degree manufacturing fictitious documents and 4th degree, possession of fictitious documents when authorities seized a number of fictitious driver’s licenses, fictitious document materials (laminates and holograms) and devices used to make fictitious documents (laminator, computer and scanner).
Grega was released on his own recognizance.

News Release – Somerset County Prosecutors Office – Mar 15, 2017
SOMERVILLE, N.J. – Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson, Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives John W. Fodor, and Branchburg Township Chief of Police David Young, announced the arrest of Patrick M. Grega, age 20, of Mathers Lane, Branchburg Township, New Jersey.
Prosecutor Robertson stated the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office received information from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) that an individual named Patrick Grega, made multiple purchases of materials that are used in making fictitious documents.
Prosecutor Robertson stated that during the week of February 28, 2017, defendant Grega ordered a large quantity of fictitious document materials to be delivered to his residence. At the time the package was delivered, defendant Grega was on vacation and would be returning home on March 12th according to the individual who received the package.
Prosecutor Robertson stated that as a result of the ongoing investigation, detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Special Investigations Unit obtained a search warrant for defendant Grega’s bedroom.
On March 13, 2017, another package containing fictitious document material was delivered to defendant Grega’s residence. Defendant Grega was home to receive the package.
On the same date at approximately 9:00 a.m., detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office, Branchburg Township Police Department along with Special Agents from the United States Department of Homeland Security Investigations executed the Superior Court search warrant upon defendant Grega’s bedroom. The search resulted in the seizure of numerous fictitious driver’s licenses, fictitious document materials (laminates and holograms) and devices used to make fictitious documents (laminator, computer and scanner).
Prosecutor Robertson stated that defendant Grega was charged with 2nd degree, manufacturing fictitious documents and 4th degree, possession of fictitious documents. Defendant Grega was released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
